Cleaning Carpets: A Necessary Evil

One of my favorite seasons is spring. Winter says good-bye, and warm weather is finally here. Flowers are blooming, and school is almost out. I look forward to it every year!
One thing that I do not look forward to, however, is spring-cleaning. Yet it has to be done. And as much as I dread it, I can’t deny that once it’s done, I feel great. The deep cleaning is cathartic, and I breathe a little deeper and feel so satisfied looking at my freshly scrubbed house.
One thing that makes spring-cleaning a bit easier is NewBrite products. Our environmentally friendly* line of cleaners helps me tackle my toughest jobs. I feel comfortable using them in my home. With two children, I am careful to pick products that I feel safe with.
When doing my spring-cleaning, I save cleaning carpets for last. It’s an exhausting job, but it sure makes a difference once it’s done. Carpet is expensive, so you want to make sure it lasts and still looks nice. Upkeep is important!
I’ve learned that you can make your least favorite chore bearable by finding an efficient way to do it. And I’m willing to share. I used to purchase store-bought cleaner, and the difference is night and day! I feel safe using it, and I’m thrilled to have another use for NewBrite.

I am Neways: Margaret Brailsford

It was exciting when Neways came to Salem. I came to work at Neways in 1994 when the company was still small enough that they were sitting around tables and hand pouring, capping and labeling some of the products. I remember when all the departments (corporate offices, production, shipping line, the warehouse, legal etc.) were all located in one small building in Salem.
I started as the first Quality employee at that time. I’ve worked in Quality most of my
time here-in the production area, the receiving/warehouse areas and under numerous managers-and I have learned a lot from each and every one of them. In 2004 I moved to the Document Control department and started compiling information and creating specification documents for the different products.
I now work in the Engineering department and still help compile documents and I control the Specification Document System. I have worked with many different people here at Neways and have enjoyed every minute of it.
It has been exciting watching the company grow to what it is today.
Neways: 25 Years and Going Strong

Twenty-five years ago, scientists in Utah realized that many personal care products available at retail stores contained industrial chemicals. Vowing to create safer alternatives for families, these scientists formed a company called Images & Attitudes in 1987. As their first products, they released 2nd Chance™ Conditioner and 2nd Chance™ Shampoo with safety-conscious alternate ingredients.
In 1992 the company became Neways, as more and more people embraced this mission. During its first 25 years, Neways launched over 200 safety conscious, effective products, opened in 29 countries, and created over two million Healthy Homes.

Three New Videos and a School in Africa

Here at Neways global headquarters, we’ve been working on three new videos that I’m quite excited about. Whether you’re a long-time Neways business builder or new to our company, these videos will help you share the Neways message more powerfully than ever. We are now partnering with the Mali Rising Foundation to construct a school in Mali, West Africa, which is the world’s fourth-most-impoverished nation. Children in many Mali villages do not attend school beyond elementary, but our Neways school will provide additional life-changing educational opportunities.

We’re only a month into 2012 as I write this, but things are already shaping up extremely well for the year ahead.

Our stronger financial position means several exciting things for distributors. We’re able to provide you with even more compelling products to enjoy and share. We’re planning on opening even more markets where you can grow your Neways business. We will expand on our environmental and social leadership, which will empower you to share Neways with ever-increasing pride and loyalty. We will continue to partner and work to make a real difference in the world through donations for Mali Rising, children’s well-being, and disaster relief.

My Favorite Travel Companion: Maximol

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been with Neways for three years now. Time sure flies especially when you’re making as many international flights as I do.
One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to work with distributors and change lives together. When I say work with distributors, I don’t just mean while I sit in my office in Springville, Utah. I am constantly flying to Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe, Australia, and many other countries so that I can personally be in the market with distributors.
I am constantly told, “I don’t know how you do it!” I do have quite the schedule, but I will tell you my secret to dealing with the hectic schedules, time changes, and little sleep: Maximol Solutions and the occasional catnap.
I traveled very extensively my first two years here, making 14 trips to Japan alone. And I never once was lacking stamina. Having traveled a lot most of my life, even I was surprised. I was usually sitting on crowded planes where nothing good happens—bad food, bad air, and horrible sleep. It can be easy to feel bogged down—especially when you’re dealing with a stressful schedule. However, this did not stop me! It was wonderful having great health so I could keep up with our energetic distributors once I got off the plane.*

2012 Will Be a Fantastic Year at Neways

In our 25th year, we remain absolutely focused on our goal to create 10 million Neways Healthy Homes around the world. We are well on our way. Nearly two million families have already converted their homes to Neways Healthy Homes, and with your help many more will do so in 2012 and beyond.
At a time when the nightly news continues to remind us that we live in tough
economic times, more and more people are looking for ways to supplement their
income and provide for their financial security. Neways offers additional
income opportunities for people who are willing to share the Neways products
and opportunity with others.
Here at Neways, we know that this income has and will continue to positively impact
people’s lives. We have paid out over two billion dollars in commissions in the

TrueTouch Clarifier: Smooth and Radiant Skin

Hello! Holly Stone here again, excited as always to talk skin care. When I first came to work at Neways, I was absolutely amazed at the efficacy and power of our skin care products. As I began to study the rich Neways history behind such great products, I learned how science is a driving force in product development. We are a pioneer in safety-conscious formulas. And as science evolves, so must we.
